Conceived as an imaginary organ for the plastic-fed species Plasticus, this work takes the form of a cyst.

Situated between pathology and adaptation, it becomes an interface: a disease transformed into an organ, a storage agent for synthetic memories embedded in the ingested plastic materials.

The piece draws inspiration from an enigmatic organ depicted in an illustration from Guy de Chauliac’s Chirurgia magna(14th century).
